Great service and friendly people

I had a great experience with McCullough. They were very professional and responded very quickly when my air went out on a very hot day. My compressor went out and they explained to me my options without pressuring me to buy the most expensive system. I ended up getting an replacement system that is much more efficient. With the rebate I have saved a considerable amount in electic bills. I would definitely use them again!

Good Home AC Service and Prices

We have used McCullough for many years and have always found them professional, reasonable and reputable (they stand behind their work). Recently our old system stopped working and we had them replace it with a new, high seer Carrier one.

I didn't know McCullough also did weatherization and Austin Energy rebates, but they worked it so we received a couple thousand in rebates and a $1500 tax credit. We love the new system and our house is definitely more comfortable and our energy use has dropped.

Outstanding Professional and Honest Service

Kevin the technician, who came out due to a possible false alarm on our carbon monoxide detector, was extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and he took to time to explain a what he was checking, why, and how things can go wrong. He also gave me some tips for maintenance and how to tell when the AC is functioning sub-optimally. I got the feeling he was extremely trustworthy and honest even before he told me he quit a previous job at another Austin AC company due to unscrupulous practices that he refused to participate in.

The previous year, I had met Al at McCullough who conducted our free home energy audit through Austin Energy, and I was extremely impressed with his expertise which is why I called McCullough in this serious circumstance with the carbon monoxide detector. Based on my great impression of Kevin and Al, I requested to sign up for a yearly maintenance contract (they did not offer or suggest it), so now I will have the peace of mind with someone coming to check up semi-annually plus a good discount on any repairs that arise and priority service on any summer emergencies. Kevin told me that McCullough has been in operation since the 1970s, and I can see why they are a success. I couldn't be more pleased and impressed. P.S. It was a rainy day when Kevin came out, and he was careful to wipe his feet and not track in mud which I really appreciated!
