Very friendly technician came by and diagnosed a problem with our AC unit in the attic. He made several changes that should stop the water drip under the unit. Great explanation and it sounds like he resolved the problem.

I knew I needed to replace my aging HVAC system, but I was concerned about the process and the cost. I reached out to McCullough for a quote. Kelvin came by to evaluate what I would need and he provided quotes for multiple systems, as well as some guidance on how I could obtain financing and qualify for rebates through Austin Energy. I knew it was going to be a question of when I replaced the system, not if, but I had waited because I was worried about the cost. I kind of wish I had done this years ago because it was easier than I had expected.

Though the job was estimated to be 2-3 days, the install and weatherization crew were able to complete everything within a day and a half. They installed the new outdoor unit, the air handler, a new thermostat, and most of the ductwork within the first day. They returned the next morning and finished connecting all the remaining ductwork. The new system has worked like a charm ever since. It runs less frequently and for shorter times than my old unit did, but it keeps my home more comfortable because the new ducts move a greater volume of air.

I went with McCullough in part because they had positive reviews, and in part because Kelvin was great to work with and made a complicated process relatively easy. I’m set for the time being, but when I need to replace this system, I’ll be going with them again.
