We Support Austin
We Support Austin With More Than Just HVAC
For more than 40 years, McCullough has been supporting Austin area homeowners with warm winters, cool summers, lowered energy bills, and excellent air quality. That’s only the beginning of what we have given back, and will always give back, to our fine city. Our commitment to this community doesn’t stop at HVAC.
We partner with several local nonprofit organizations to provide basic needs and extra support for families and businesses in our community. We believe that when you live here, you give here.
Here’s a few ways that we do this:
The Family Eldercare Fan Drive
McCullough is a long time Platinum Sponsor sponsor of this cool cause. Now in its 28th year, this Family Eldercare program brings critical relief from Austin’s summer heat to families across Central Texas. The Summer Fan Drive provides new box and oscillating fans to seniors, adults with disabilities, and families with children in Central Texas. In 2017 alone, the Summer Fan Drive distributed 6,740 fans to more than 3,200 households. Learn more about Family Eldercare and how to get involved.
Eanes Education Foundation
Did you know that more than 60% of the taxes allocated to Eanes School District are re-allocated to other districts in the area? McCullough is a proud partner and supporter of the Eanes School District and Eanes Education Foundation (EEF), having donated more than $75,000. In the last 16 years, EEF has bestowed more than 400 teachers with over $21M in funding. As major supporters of Austin’s Eanes School District and of teachers and children in our community, we have helped to bolster the EEF mission with tens of thousands of dollars in donations. McCullough Heating & Air Conditioning is the proud sponsor of Eanes Education Foundation’s 2020 Teacher Fund. Teachers make a difference and so can you! Central Texas Food Bank
The Central Texas Food Bank brings 39 million meals per year to families in Austin and all over Central Texas. The Food Bank stocks shelves in homes through food donations and healthy eating recommendations, they connect families to vital resources, and they help our government allocate resources for families in need. McCullough is a proud partner and supporter for the CTFB and it’s affiliates, and we have contributed to this important cause passionately for years. Florence’s House is a safe space for Austin youth. Our young people who come from challenging home lives and need a place to find calm and comfort, come to Florence’s Comfort House. Florence has a thriving garden, helps kids with homework and art projects, provides meals to those who don’t have ready access, and generally offers mentorship and love. McCullough has been proud to donate to Florence and thankful for everything she does for our community and our children. Learn more about Florence and donate today.
